Do people say blogroll anymore? Anyway, Barrett Kirwan (a colleague through my work with NAREA) has been active on social media lately and is an occasional blogger. He's really smart and definitely worth a follow. His main beat is agricultural economics, but with enough environmental content to make it relevant to this blog and quite a bit of material on how to be a productive economist. For example, he has a series of Workflow Wednesday posts describing how to use Emacs; it's gibberish to me, but I'm old. I also owe him a hat tip for linking-once-removed to the single best presentation I've seen on giving a presentation (job market candidates take note!).
Barrett blogs at https://iharvestblog.com/author/ideaharvest/ and tweets at https://twitter.com/barrettkirwan
