I feel like this is an accurate representation of people looking at my code:
I work with colleagues who are excellent coders: they comment and document things well, they break repeatable tasks into function, etc. Mine looks like I wrote it after a post-exam night out at Zeno's.
I really like the paper by Gentzkow and Shapiro and I'm working to try to incorporate their techniques into my work and I think I'm slowly making progress. I'd love to hear about other sources of inspiration that people use.
