August 12th 2013 is my parents' 51st wedding anniversary. To celebrate this important day, Amazon will give away free copies (just on Monday) of my e-book; Fundamentals of Environmental Economics: Solving Urban Pollution Problems. I will learn what the demand curve for my book looks like. It is selling a few copies at a price of $2 and we will see how many more copies are sold at a price of $0! Amazon gives authors the option to give away their books on certain days (up to 5 days). ...UPDATE: I spent four hours today revising the book and I've posted a "Second Edition" of the book. I've added some new material and removed some typos and fixed some strange sentences that were included in the first edition.

A few comments:

- Congrats to Matt's parents, 51 years ...
- Why would *anyone* buy this book (part 1)? Matt loves field experiments so I'm guessing he'll use each of his five giveaway days. This is the second.
- Why would *anyone* buy this book (part 2)? The first edition of Matt's book that I bought for $2 is now obsolete.
- TINSTAAFL: it took me 3 minutes to figure out that I had to delete the old edition from my Kindle Reader and "buy" (with 1-click!) the second edition for $0. Valuing my time at $60 per hour (to make the math easy), the book cost me $3.
