Folks really are obsessed with gas prices. On my travels last week I saw two gas stations about a block apart in Middlesboro, Ky. The first had lines at the pump 2-3 cars long. The second had gas prices a nickel per gallon higher and advertising a free tank of gas per week (up to $75 value!). No one was waiting to fill up at the second. A nickel per gallon difference is a dollar difference for a 20 gallon tank. You would think that the time cost of waiting to pump gas would be more than a dollar and the lines at the pump would adjust, wouldn't you?
