Yesterday, my classroom at Birkbeck College was in 47 Gordon Square, one of a long row of terraced houses lining the entire eastern side of the square in Bloomsbury. Birkbeck has taken over much of that side of the square and converted it to classrooms and offices. You enter through 43. Next door to my classroom is 46, which was the home of Keynes for 30 years until his death in 1946.
