Top 10 Reasons to be hating on John List**:
- As already mentioned earlier today: he dissed lab experiments.
- His vita: too many papers published in the top journals.
- His fawning rags-to-riches bio in SuperFreakonomics (more details below). If you love him so much why don't you marry him?
- His country club*** sport: golf. I hate golf.
- Ever since he became a co-editor at JEEM I haven't had a paper accepted (actually, my dry spell began much sooner).
- His circle of friends and co-authors (see #1) is quite wide. What did I ever do to be excluded from that group?
- His relative youth (born: 1968).
- He forgot where he came from. Anyone in economics who scores a job in a department ranked above his graduate school deserves some scorn from the rest of us schmoes that move down and stay down.
- He doesn't need a belt to hold his pants up.
- He has a Wikipedia entry.****
*All in fun guys!

****From the Wiki: "From May 2002 to July 2003 he served as Senior Economist, President’s Council of Economic Advisors for Environmental and Resource Economics, where he worked on multi-national market institutions to address climate change, ..." Which begs the climate change SuperFreak question.
