Last summer I updated you periodically on the successes of the official oldest daughter of env-econ's travel softball team. Well, this year I decided to hold back and not bore you--until the end. After a slow start to the season, the Dublin GreenSox found their stride and finished the season with a 32-13-2 record--going 16-4 in their last 20 games. Last night, the Sox won the I-270 (Columbus area) Girl's Fastpitch Softball League Tournament. Official oldest daughter of env-econ threw a 1-hit shutout in the championship game.
Now we're off to do some field research on the forgotten coast of Florida. If I sober up enough find enough time is my research schedule, I'll post some from the beach. If not, I'll 'see' you when I get back.
