By the way, I need to give a final NIT bracket report. After a fierce battle that captivated the public, the competition ends with a whimper. Alas, neither "Charlie" nor Whitehead put a single team in the Final Four. This is kind of like a baseball team losing, yet clinching a playoff spot, or winning the Daytona 500 under a yellow flag. Despite the anti-climactic finish, it was a good first effort at an NIT pool. Next year, I hope it will be even better because (a) we may get up to 3 participants and (b) Kentucky won't be in it. Final score "Charle" 52, Whitehead 44.
