Odds and ends from the Gulf SEP experience

I'm still in Tampa, sitting in the back row at the Gulf SEP meeting. Here are some somewhat related odds and ends:

3. At the same webpage as #2, the WSJ Economics blog kind of makes fun of the companion report on fishing communities: Answers to Questions You Never Thought to Ask.

4. It is difficult to focus on fish with all of the basketball coaching rumors in the Kentucky papers (Pitino going to Arizona, Gillispie going away). But, at least, Duke lost last night and I won't have that nagging irritation until next season.
