Dear Economist Colleague,
As a climate economist at the Union of Concerned Scientists (UCS), I would like to invite you to a reception at the upcoming American Economics Association (AEA) Annual Meeting this January in San Francisco. You may have already heard about this event, but I wanted to ensure you received an invitation. If you are attending the AEA or will be in the San Francisco area, you are cordially invited to meet and greet UCS climate change program staff at a reception on January 2 with guest speakers Drs. Geoffrey Heal and Michael Hanneman.
We hope you will join us to learn how UCS is bringing economists' voices to the growing call for federal climate solutions, including a recent effort, the U.S. Scientists and Economists' Call for Swift and Deep Reductions in Greenhouse Gas Emissions. Read more at www.ucsusa.org/climateletter
