I'm in Lexington today and having happy thoughts about ...
The summer after I graduated from college I began graduate school by taking Math Econ. I also lived a block away from Lynagh's Pub. A 22 year old male within a block of nightly $3 pitchers of Killian's Red (the real stuff before they were sold to Coors) partially led to my C+ in Math Econ ... I had to live for 3 years of courses knowing that I was one more C away from graduate school expulsion.
Lynagh's was recently sold to a group that included 1980s era UK quarterback Bill Ransdell:
Lynagh's is a place where a lot of war stories are told and a lot of problems are solved, Ransdell said.
"I really think if they would put some of our regulars in charge of the economy, we could solve this whole bailout problem in an instant."
