Inspired by the response to my data sharing initiative, I've set up an environmental economics data resource page that can also be found off our Env-Econ 101 page. The plan is to post small travel cost method, contingent valuation method, etc data sets in Excel format. These will appear as posts and then the permalink will be found on the data page. As the data page says:
The purpose of this data page is to provide small, user friendly data sets for economics statistical exercises. Parts of the data may be bogus and, therefore, unsuitable for research purposes. In other words, buyer beware.
Enjoy!
And, in case anyone is wondering, if you want to borrow data for research purposes that is OK too, all I ask for is a citation and the funding of my own, personalized, bottomless pint glass at the Boone Saloon.
