OK, not really, but I have Internet access. We're in a Hampton Inn in Sedona, Arizona and they offer free wi-fi. CRAZY!
So here's the short version of our vacation:
Day 1: Las Vegas. My thoughts. Stunning. A city of ridiculous extravagance that I find enjoyable. Took the kids to a Cirque De Soleil show (Mystere). Fun to watch my 10 year old gymnast's reaction to the acrobatics.
Day 2: Hoover Dam. My thoughts. Stunning. Ingenuity and human abilities at their best. There is absolutely no way something like that would ever be built in the U.S. today. The precautionary principle sucks.
Day 3: Grand Canyon. My thoughts. Stunning. Nothing else. I was expecting to be awestruck and it exceeded my expectations. Stunning.
Day 4: Sedona, AZ...more to come, but first impressions...stunning.
PS: I'm assuming I'm the only idiot in the world who didn't know that the Grand Canyon and much of Northern Arizona are over 6,000 feet? It was cold at the Grand Canyon and there was snow in Flagstaff. And there are mountains in Arizona. I'm dumbfounded.
PPSSPSS: I would upload pictures but I forgot the cord to hook my camera to my laptop. So you'll have to wait...
