The Department of Economics invites applications for a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level, beginning September 1, 2008. The successful applicant will teach environmental economics classes and participate in the teaching of an introductory environmental studies course. Colby College expects both excellent teaching and published research and provides substantial support for career development in both areas. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in economics completed by August 2008. To be considered for an interview at the 2008 ASSA meetings, please send curriculum vitae, graduate transcript, three letters of recommendation, reprints of published work or a writing sample of current research, and official summaries of teaching evaluations by November 14, 2007.
