Yesterday, Tim wrote about the theory of peak oil. Being an empiricist, I decided to test that theory. And, yes, I am ready to present to the world my results. The experiment (I love experimental economics) involved a large sample (n=30) of 6 oz. glasses with beer poured into them (with about a half-inch head). The experimental subject proceeded to drink the beer at various speeds. In each and every trial "The glass starts full and ends empty and the faster you drink it the quicker it's gone." QED. Due to this proof, I am now a true Peak Oiler. Yet, as a result of my experiment, I doubt if I'll be able to type a decent post for the next several days. And finally, if anyone knows the whereabouts of my car keys and my pants, please let me know.
