One of the many services provided by the Environmental Economics blog is the observation that a cap-and-trade environmental policy has become mundane. Amazing that. As a high school kid in Kentucky, I never dreamed that the efficiency of cap-and-trade would ever be unleashed to help solve environmental problems. And now it ain't hip to not mention it.
Herewith, we announce a new semi-regular post: "Cap-and-trade watch." Exciting that. Anytime I run across the term "cap-and-trade" and am surprised by its mundanity I'll post a link to the article with an out of context excerpt that contains the phrase ... cap-and-trade. And I invite you to send me cap-and-trades that you might stumble across, and I'll get a freebie post out of it.
Note: This is as good as the ideas get at 1:02 am after the kids wake you up and you can't get back to sleep.
