Happy new year! What a great day to take a minute to consider the Environmental Economics blog's blogroll policy. Here 't'is:
There are a lot of great economics blogs. There are a lot of great environmental blogs. There are a lot of great blogs about music. Unfortunately, since we only have 4-6 hours each day to devote to blogging (joe-king!) we only try to list (1) the intersection of economics and environment blogs or (2) any blogs written by someone willing to pay the suggested cash bribe ($3 - $7). For example, here are two new-to-the-blogroll blogs that fall under the first category:
The Jolly Green General says:
I plan to use this site to post news, commentary, and analysis of current environment and development issues. Of course, I reserve the right to rant about politics now and then.
The Girl Economist says:
A collection of news, links, opinions and analysis maintained by T.B. Murphy, an assistant professor of economics at the University of Massachusetts-Boston that specializes in environmental economics. My goal is for the blog to be interesting and accessible to everyone, not just economists or economics students. Enjoy!
One of my New Year's revolutions is to steal from, er ... read, these blogs regularly. Suggestions of other blogs that might qualify, or bribe, are appreciated in the comments section.
And, FYI, here are John's obligatory new years blogging revolutions:
- spend more time blogging
- try to focus more attention on myself
- steal more posts from other environmental econ blogs
- try to get Tim to stop being so self-absorbed
- spend less time blogging
Now, g-d-it, where is the freakin' acetaminophen?
