Just in time for the Fall political campaigns (i.e., have you heard this one: the Republican oil companies are softening the economy for some election time shenanigans)?
Or, is summer driving season over and are speculators, for whatever reason they do what they do, deciding to sell, sell, sell (see Gas Price Obsession)?
