Final Vicarious Sports Update (for now)

The Dublin Green Sox 12 and under softball team finished their two month season at 11:30 PM last night with an 11-10 victory in their Central Ohio travel league's end of year tournament.  Official oldest daughter of Env-Econ drove in the winning run in the bottom of the seventh (last inning) with two outs and runners on first and second. Proud dad was coaching first and is pretty sure he ran onto the field before the winning run had officially crossed home.

For the season, the Green Sox finished with 37 wins, 11 losses 10 losses and 2 ties.  In league play they went 15-3-2 after starting the season 0-3.  In the six tournaments the team played, they finished 3rd in one, second in two and first in their last.

UPDATE: From the inbox (co-head coach of the Dublin Green Sox):  "Dude, not to be picky or anything but I noticed on your blog that you had our record at 37-11-2.  We finished with 10 losses, not 11!"  Correction made.
