Tim hates Hollywood environmental hypocrisy. So, what will he do when his fav show goes carbon neutral?

On the same note (not really, but how else am I going to get on top of the page), I liked this entry at blogfish.
It interesting, I the outsider (chemist, computer programmer type guy) came to this blog in good part for my interest in fisheries. I read, discussed, sorted out my ideas. I came to the conclusion that fishing to "limits" was always produce a collapse.
Now I see that there is this other meme, called "he death of fishery management"
I've gotta say, I like it.
... oh, and my favorite Hollywood celebrities like it too!

Fishing to limits will always lead to collapse, especially with uneven response to information (as is typical). If studies say fish are abundant, limits are raised quickly. If studies say fish are depleted, it's a huge long fight to lower limits. Uh-oh, we know how this story ends.
Scholarly journal articles have said the same thing with more words and equations, but the point is quite simple and obvious.
